This webpage was created to help students and teachers during the Coronavirus situation. We hope this will be useful for everyone in some way. Please stay safe!

FOR STUDENTS:

If you did not buy your textbook yet, you can download and print Units 1-3.

If you do not have a printer at home, please print at a convenience store or at school.

Your teacher may have sent you an email with the documents. Or click on the images to download. You can also just view the documents online.

FOR TEACHERS:

UNITS 1-3 PDF DOCUMENTS

Teachers may want to download Units 1-3 and send the files directly to your students via your university file-sharing system. That's probably going to be to the student's university email account. Simply download and attach the PDF file.

POWERPOINT GUIDES

Below are PowerPoint step-by-step instructions for students. Teachers should also share these instructions with students via your university file-sharing system. Teachers can download and edit as necessary. You may want to include other information about homework or change some of the content.

If you don't need to make any changes, you can download the PDF version of the PowerPoints. PDFs are easier for students to print and are smaller file sizes.

If you do edit the original PowerPoints, I would recommend saving the file and then SAVE AS a PDF to send to students. Click on the images to download.

GOOGLE FORMS

We have created Google Form documents for Units 1 to 20 for students to fill out. The forms ask students questions from the unit and also have a section where students input their own answers to the interview questions. This will keep the students accountable for doing the lessons.

The data from the forms can be collected and sorted in simple excel (CSV) files. Or, if you are using Google Classroom, you can set the Import Grades function. If teachers would like to use Google Forms for The English Gym, please contact us at:
